ABOUT THE POSITION
The Development Department is charged with funding the Innocence Project's work by cultivating donors
and prospects, soliciting donations, and stewarding those donors across the department's various revenue
lines which include individuals, foundations, and corporate entities.
The Gift Processing & Engagement Associate is responsible for the recording and acknowledgement of the
Innocence Project's constituents' data and donations using Salesforce. This position works closely with the
Development and Finance teams. Primarily, the Gift Processing & Engagement Associate ensures efficiency
and timeliness in processing donor information and donations using best practices to maintain optimal data
integrity. This position plays a key role in maintaining Salesforce integrity and in maintaining donor
communication and satisfaction through timely donor acknowledgement. The Gift Processing &
Engagement Associate will also help respond to telephone calls and emails from constituents and staff as
needed / requested regarding gift matters.
This full-time position reports to the Director of Data Systems and Analytics. This is a full-time position that
requires no travel.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - GIFT PROCESSING
- Process all check, stock, and credit card gifts to the Innocence Project
- Determine appropriate gift designations by reviewing accompanying documentation prior to entry,
and alert appropriate staff to special gift situations.
DONOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND INQUIRIES
