Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Research Analyst to support our National, Digital and Regional Ad Sales teams. This role involves analyzing media trends, evaluating the media competitive landscape, and developing compelling sales materials that help drive advertising investment in cinema.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research & Analysis
- Field and analyze research requests from Ad Sales Team, including Sales Leadership and other stakeholders
- Utilize a diverse range of media research tools such as ComScore, Nielsen Npower, Nielsen Media Impact to develop insights.
- Interpret data and provide actionable recommendations that align with sales goals.
- Sales Support & Presentation Development:
- Develop engaging, data-driven sales materials to support ad sales initiatives.
- Create reports, rankers, and category-specific presentations that demonstrate cinema’s value to advertisers.
- Competitive Market Tracking:
- Maintain up-to-date analyses of competitive video landscape including linear, streaming and social media.
- Track and analyze broadcast and cable TV performance vs. cinema for key demographics using NMI, NPower and other tools.
- Monitor and report on emerging media trends and competitive shifts in the national advertising landscape.
Qualifications:
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, data analysis), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Understanding of media research tools such as Nielsen, NPower, Comscore, Power BI, Nielsen AdIntel, Nielsen Media Impact and similar tools
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling insights.
- Strong understanding of media sales, industry trends, and consumer behavior.
Education & Experience:
- 2 years of experience in media research, analytics, or a related field (entry-level candidates with strong skills will be considered).
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

SALARY RANGE & BENEFIT OPTIONS FOR NEW YORK APPLICANTS:
Salary Range: Base Salary of approximately $65,000-$75,000 annually plus bonus - compensation is commensurate with skills & experience.
