NCNS Environmental, Inc. is seeking a dependable and dedicated Full Time Field Technician!
NCNS Environmental, Inc. is a family owned and operated business that has been open since 1991. We haul, treat, and dispose various streams of waste from medical waste and regulated garbage to demolitions and crime scene clean ups.
Job Summary:
Field Technicians are responsible for proper collection, transport, treatment, and disposal of all waste materials handled.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Abide by Federal, State, and other local transportation laws when operating company vehicles.
- Arrive at destinations on route schedule in a timely manner.
- Pick up and load waste materials.
- Offload waste materials.
- Interact with customers professionally.
- Maintain all company equipment and supplies with appropriate care.
- Assists with utility and support tasks as directed by their supervisor, such as warehouse operation and maintenance.
- Implementation of company policies and procedures on and off site.
Working Conditions:
- Hep A & B vaccination*
- Negative TB test
Physical Demands:
- Loading and unloading of heavy/bulky equipment and supplies in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift, move and carry heavy/bulky items, in excess of 50 lbs., for long distances
- Physically able to stand for prolonged periods and/or move about various locations
- Physically able to bend and/or climb if necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving abstract.
