Overall Responsibility
Manage all shipping, receiving, and inventory operations, including physical movement of items and ERP system transactions. Coordinate and schedule shipments within manufacturing and other departments.
Key areas of responsibility
• Supervise, train, and coach team members while directing and tracking warehouse activities and performance.
• Shipping and receiving, load/unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders and processing for shipping
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
• Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
• Ensure warehouse/yard is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
• Retrieve customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping area
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately completed in the current ERP system
• Inventory Control including cycle counts, full physical inventories, bin audits, and inventory organization
• Work with all departments on scheduling, coordinating, and responsible for transactions of inventory movements domestically and internationally
• Assist with production as required
• Participate in HSE management and procedures and adhere to NCS policies
• Perform other duties as required or requested

Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED; required
• Must have 5 years of experience, Lead experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; required
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively with NCS employees and management
• Ability to recognize problems, identify root cause and create sustainable solutions
• Excellent judgment and discretion; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work related stress
• Technical working knowledge of NCS HSE program, products and procedures
Additional Information
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Work environment- Safety Sensitive, Indoor, Outdoor
• Schedule- Full time, overtime required as needed, but not guaranteed; Must have flexible schedule to work weekends and holidays required as needed due to customer needs etc.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening
• Employment contingent on clearance for Employee Possessor by the ATF
