What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Network Specialist position at NCS Technologies?
POSITION OVERVIEW : The Network Specialist - Operations is a mandatory on-site mid-level IT resource providing IT support maintaining and monitoring our client's network landscape. You will be called upon to help address issues, recommend improvements, implement solutions, and contribute to the overall network landscape.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide comprehensive operational support for all aspects of the network as well as related functions.
- Monitor and maintain all network infrastructure.
- Upgrade, harden, and configure all network infrastructure nodes / systems.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all aspects within scope.
- Contribute to design and planning efforts for new sites as well as upgrades / expansions for existing sites.
LOCATION AND TRAVEL : The position is in Long Island, NY (Commack / Long Beach) with potential to travel to other offices.
