Summary Of Work

Greet clients and other people coming into the office. Direct them to the proper officer or handle the situation personally.

Respond to clients daily questions regarding their supervision status and conditions of probation or parole.

Answer telephone and direct calls to proper officer. Attempt to assist the caller in the absence of the officer. Direct the calling party to the appropriate agency or official if our office is unable to assist the caller.

Maintain appointment schedule for the officers.

Type correspondence for the officers including forms, memos and letters.

Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail. Pickup incoming mail at the post office, open and stamp with date received, distribute to proper officer or process personally. Prepare and post outgoing mail and deliver to post office.

Create and revise forms as needed.

Computer data entry.

Maintenance of offender files to include documentation and scanning.

Monthly reports.

Responsible for maintaining the stock of supplies on hand and ordering supplies from central office when necessary.

Works professionally with local stakeholders regarding supervision of clients.

Assist with writing petitions and supervising and maintaining SCRAM and GPS inventory.

Conduct random urine analysis testing.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Additional work experience performing office support, clerical, or secretarial duties is desirable. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills is necessary for performing the job duties. Preference may be given to those individuals who have experience with Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and possess prioritization and time management skills. Must be able to meet strict guidelines and manage time independently. The successful candidate must be flexible and innovative in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Must successfully complete standard background and criminal record check.
