Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at NDS. As an essential member of our production department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines, performing routine maintenance checks, and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Mold Operation and Maintenance: Operate and perform regular maintenance checks on injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary materials and equipment, and manage inventory levels to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve issues with molds, machinery, and equipment, and perform repairs as needed.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards.
Requirements:
- Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in manufacturing or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment; experience with injection molding equipment and processes preferred.
- Skill and Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; basic math skills and attention to detail.
