Job Overview :
We are a preeminent boutique law firm seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join our distinguished corporate and real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience practicing law in the areas of corporate law and real estate. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and advise and represent clients in high-profile corporate and real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in corporate law and real estate matters, with a bonus if they have some litigation experience. We are looking for a strategic thinker who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. As an Associate or Partner, you will play an integral role in managing client relationships, leading transactions, and providing strategic advice, and business generation and client development.
Key Responsibilities :
Advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including business sales, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, private equity transactions, business structuring, and corporate governance and other transactional matters. Draft and negotiate professional service agreements, complex contracts, agreements, asset purchase agreements and corporate documents.
- Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, sales, financings and development projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and legal agreements including purchase and sale contracts and lease agreements.
- Represent clients in due diligence processes, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Manage and oversee transactional processes, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy in all documentation and procedures.
- Lead client meetings, communications and presentations.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on legal matters and professional development.
- Collaborate with other practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions for clients.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to corporate and real estate matters.
- Manage client relationships, develop new business, and contribute to the growth of the firm's practice.
