- Position reports directly to the Director of Surgical Services and is very well supported by a team of Supervisors, Charge Nurses and a dedicated Department Educator
About the Hospital and Department:
- Known for its close knit culture, family feel
- Position will manage the day to day operations of the Operating Rooms with a team of 50 FTEs
- Department performs over 8k annual surgeries across 9 OR's including general, ortho, neuro, vascular, gyn, urology, CV and robotics
About the Nurse Manager, Surgery / OR Position:
This is a highly autonomous role that will focus on the daily operations of the department. You will also provide mentoring to your staff, ensure collaborative and positive physician relationships, create and implement process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. Our ideal candidate will possess the heart of a servant leader and should be able to build and maintain positive relationships across all levels.
Qualifications & Requirements for Nurse Manager, Surgery / OR
- BSN required (Master's preferred)
- RN active license required
- Minimum two (2) years of progressive surgical services leadership experience at Supervisor level or above in an inpatient surgical services setting
- Minimum five (5) years of surgical services nursing experience (some of which must be main OR clinical nursing experience)
- CNOR is a plus
- INSPIRATIONAL and COLLABORATIVE leadership style
- Strong focus on quality, patient safety, staff and collaborating across all levels to ensure and obtain the best patient outcomes
Salary : $145,000
