Neany Inc., headquartered in California, Maryland is currently looking to hire Contracts / Procurement Specialists to support the headquarters location. This position requires a Secret clearance. Neany Inc. offers excellent pay for this position ranging from $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Our benefits package includes, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K after the first six months and tuition assistance. Relocation assistance can be discussed.

  • Job Summary :

The Contracts / Procurement Specialist will prepare, review, negotiate, administer, and administrate contracts, agreements, purchase orders, various contractual and proposal documents.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None.
  • Duties / Responsibilities
  • Reviews cost proposals and pricing information.
  • Prepares and administers contracts and purchase orders with specific vendors.
  • Compares bids from vendors and determines, or assists with determination, to whom contracts will be awarded.
  • Evaluates vendor proposals to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Confirms that terms and delivery dates are accurate.
  • Evaluates competence of vendors and reviews their invoices for accuracy.
  • Maintains database regarding vendor’s performance and quality of product(s).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills / Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
  • Three years of relevant experience required.
  • Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
