Position Summary

As our Canvassing Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and overseeing our field canvassing team, recruiting new talent, and driving impactful outreach strategies. In this role, your leadership will directly influence the company’s growth, your team’s success, and your own earning potential. Key Responsibilities

1. Dynamic Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of canvassers, setting clear goals and performance expectations.

• Foster a supportive and high-energy environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and consistently high performance.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

• Identify and hire top-tier canvassing candidates.

• Conduct phone screenings and interviews, clearly communicating NearMe Roofing Company’s mission, values, and growth opportunities.

• Ensure new hires receive comprehensive training to excel in their roles.

3. Coaching & Mentorship

• Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to help team members refine their communication and sales techniques.

• Conduct regular check-ins, performance reviews, and skill-building sessions to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

4. Rapport Building & Customer Engagement

• Equip your team to establish trust and rapport with homeowners.

• Train canvassers on effectively identifying homeowners’ pain points and offering roofing solutions that address their specific needs.

5. Deliver Compelling Pitches

• Teach canvassers to confidently articulate the features and benefits of NearMe Roofing Company’s products and services.

• Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation in every homeowner interaction.

6. Achieve and Exceed Sales Targets

• Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for your team.

• Monitor progress against targets, celebrating wins and proactively addressing challenges to meet or exceed company objectives.

7. Field Operations & Logistics

• Manage canvassing territories, plan effective door-to-door outreach strategies, and track results.

• Safely operate a company-provided vehicle to transport canvassers to and from designated neighborhoods.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and operational guidelines, including maintaining a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

8. Hands-On Contribution

• Lead by example, occasionally canvassing alongside your team to model best practices.

• Continuously refine processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency in the field.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in managing, coaching, or leading high-performing teams (experience in sales or canvassing preferred).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive under pressure.

• A passion for personal growth and a desire to help others develop their skills.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

• Willingness to walk and stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
