Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Software Development: Assist in designing, modifying, developing, and implementing cloud-based software applications, focusing on learning and contributing to core development tasks under mentorship.
- Application Support & Maintenance: Help support and install software applications and operating systems, ensuring smooth deployment, maintenance, and updates.
- Software Testing: Participate in the testing process, including reviewing test cases, analyzing results, and certifying software quality under guidance.
- Cloud Telemetry Operations: Collaborate on the instrumentation, collection, and export of telemetry data for a cloud-based production tracking service to monitor and optimize application performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4 years of experience in software development, including designing, modifying, and implementing software programming applications.
- Hands-on experience in supporting and/or installing software applications or operating systems.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based development tools.
- Basic knowledge of Java and Python programming languages, with a willingness to learn and enhance skills.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and web service-based systems engineering.
- Understanding of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Foundational knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Dynatrace components is a plus.
