The HR Business Partner will serve as a bridge between the Branch and the NearU Human Resource Department. This role is responsible for building relationships with employees, assisting employees with HR related tasks, being a partner to management to execute business initiatives, and execute the NearU processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee concerns and escalate when appropriate.
- Proactively work with management on potential performance concerns.
- Foster a positive work environment and culture.
- Enhance productivity and engagement by aligning support with employee needs.
- Partner with management on staffing needs
- Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
- Conducts employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Assist branch management with annual employee reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Assists in the coordination and communication with all HR departments including benefits, recruiting, and safety.
- Ensures compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Acts as liaison between branch and NearU HR departments.
- Occasionally assists with company-wide HR initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
