The Nebraska Brand Committee has a great opportunity for a self-motivated, organized and experienced individuals to join our team in the position of BRAND INSPECTOR. Applicants must live in the area of Hyannis south to Ogallala. This position will require a flair for the livestock industry, a passion for accuracy, a willingness to work with people and the desire to offer outstanding customer service. Brand Inspectors are required to work under general supervision of the Chief Inspector, Area Supervisor, and In-Charge Inspectors handle local livestock inspections, auction market sales as designated, or whenever services are requested. Inspectors will be responsible for, identifying brands on cattle, processing and oversight of brand inspection data into the brand inspection system, cross referencing paper records to ensure data integrity for all inspections, according to Nebraska State statutes. The beginning salary will be $2729.00 per month.
