What We Are Looking For: We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable individual who excels in communication and organizational tasks. Key Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR: Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.

- Answer phone calls and route them to the appropriate person or department.
- Perform accurate data entry.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including overnight deliveries, responsible for processing and organizing mail.
- Handle returned mail, including contacting customers via phone or email.
- Assist in the issuance of vital records such as birth, death, marriage, and dissolution certificates.
- Learn and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a focus on customer service.
- Strong understanding of and capacity to apply policies and regulations effectively in a collaborative environment.
- A strong understanding of clerical and secretarial tasks, including recordkeeping, database management, and report preparation.
- Knowledge of customer service practices and relevant policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and composition for business communications.
- Skill in using word processing and data management software.
- Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
