Nature of Work
The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for ensuring the smooth progression of students throughout the admissions cycle. Manages standards of the admissions application flow and processing for Peru State College. This position also oversees day-to-day office operations including incoming phone calls, guests, and regular interactions across all campus entities. Duties will include but are not limited to management of admissions process using PeopleSoft, EMP (CRM), ImageNow, Parchment (electronic transcript receipt). These systems serve prospective students, applicants (dual enrollment, personal enrichment, online, undergraduate, and graduate students.) Will interpret, monitor, analyze data and information, and administer and maintain systems and processes related to the functional area. Ensures that communications and messaging across all platforms is consistent with the Peru State brand. Will provide regular admission reports to the Director of Admissions and other groups as needed.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or admissions work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of two years’ prior experience in database management and prior experience with PeopleSoft are strongly preferred. Attention to detail, analytical skills, organizational and problem-solving ability are also highly preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external constituencies.
