What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Associate position at Nebraska State College System?
The Nebraska State College System (NSCS) is seeking applicants for the position of Office Associate .
The Office Associate will provide support to the Nebraska State College System Office in Lincoln, NE as needed.
Examples of Work Performed :
- Deliver responsive public-facing service by answering phones and addressing inquiries.
- Process accounts payable, travel, purchasing, accounts receivable, and other various accounting transactions.
- Ensure finance transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner and in compliance with all applicable institutional, State, and Federal regulations, policies, and guidelines.
- Oversee financial tracking on various projects, ensuring fund availability, obtaining approvals, and coordinating payments.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with retention policies and act as the primary liaison for State Treasurer notifications, garnishments, and wage orders.
- Provide administrative support by managing office files, calendars, supplies, and processing mail.
- Work closely with employees within the System office as well as at each of the three Colleges.
