NECA, LLC. is known as National Entertainment Collectibles Association, one of the leading manufacturers for licensed merchandise. Since the inception of its toy division in 2002, NECA became synonymous with the horror genre, releasing some of the most sought-after collectibles for slasher icons such as Michael Myers, Jason Voorhees, and Freddy Krueger, while shining a light on niche characters like Sam from Trick-r-Treat. In the years since, NECA has also become a staple collectible manufacturer for the Alien & Predator franchises, and more recently, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
We are searching for a Staff Accountant to join our high-performing finance team to support the accounting function at NECA, reporting into a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of experience in accounting and finance and be based in our Hillside, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly closing process.
- Prepare balance sheet analyses and reconciliations to support amounts.
- Prepare journal entries.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of Senior Accountant and other members of the Accounting team
- Prepare information for annual audit required by independent CPA firm.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least one (1) year of accounting or finance experience
- Beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP’s, SUMIF’s)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on many unique projects and tasks.

The hiring range for this position based onsite in Hillside, New Jersey is ($50,000.00 - $65,000.00) per year.
