Founded over 20 years ago, Necco is one of the largest providers of child welfare services in the nation. It is currently operating offices in 4 states and is rapidly growing. Necco provides a host of services including foster care and adoption, behavioral health, and other community based services designed to support and empower children and their families.

Caseload Management & Productivity

 

  • Assist with Clinical Intakes and ensure medical necessity is met
  • Drive the treatment planning process from intake to discharge based on client diagnosis and need
  • Provide Case Management services, as well as individual, group/family therapy services with Clinical Supervision
  • Meet or exceed billable hours
  • Maintain complete and accurate client records per regulations
  • Ensure treatment goals are tied to outcomes
  • Consult with foster parents, parents, school personnel or other treatment team members to address client’s diagnosis, progress and barriers as needed.
  • Maintain billing units and prior authorizations for each client (if applicable)

 

 

 

Data Entry

 

  • Submit all documentation in a timely, accurate, and complete manner
  • Understand Medicaid requirements and billing process
  • Learn and execute Necco’s core software applications

 

 

 

Crisis Prevention/Risk Management

 

  • Conduct safety planning, as needed
  • Submit critical incidents or other risk-related concerns in a timely manner

 

 

 

Leadership and Development

 

  • Participate in clinical and/or billing supervision
  • Maintain provisions of professional license and/or certification
  • Collaborate with the treatment team
  • Maintain training with clinical team members on strategies for mental health issues

Position Qualifications

 

  • Currently in Master’s Degree Program, with emphasis in Social Work or Professional Mental Health Counseling field, with current/ability to obtain Provisional License (CT/SWT.)
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in a human services discipline one (1) year of experience in mental health treatment and a valid Ohio Mental Health Practitioner’s License i.e. LSW or LPC (Ohio only)
  • Valid driver’s license and required insurance coverage
  • Training and Travel willingness
  • Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
  • Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
