ON-CALL Storage Item Hand Off

Compensation:

• $20 per hour, (Minimum $100 guaranteed paymen, if 100% of calls are attended)
• $8 per trip to the storage unit (for gas reimbursement)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to work as an ON-CALL Equipment Hand-Off Person. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting buyers at a storage unit, handing over purchased used equipment, and ensuring the proper closure of the unit. You will be on-call between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and we will provide you with notice between 2 hours and 24 hours in advance of when you will need to be at the storage unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with customers at a designated storage unit location to hand over purchased equipment.
• Ensure all items being handed over match the sale details.
• Open the storage unit, retrieve the correct items, and ensure they are properly transferred to the buyer.
• Make sure the storage unit is securely closed and locked after each transaction.
• Submit a brief report confirming the handover, including what item(s) were given to the customer.
• Communicate promptly regarding appointments and item handovers.
• NO heavy lifting will be required, the actual retrieval of the equipment will be handled by customer.

Requirements:

• Availability: Must be available to be on-call between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM and be able to arrive at the storage unit within the 2-hour to 24-hour notice period.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have your own vehicle and be able to travel to the storage unit.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to ensure smooth interactions with buyers and accurate reporting.
• Attention to Detail: Must be able to verify the correct equipment is being handed over.
• Background Check: All candidates must pass a background check prior to being hired.

Compensation Details:

• $20/hour for the time spent meeting with buyers and performing related duties.
• A guaranteed payment of $100 minimum per month, if all calls are handled.
• $8/trip for gas reimbursement for each visit to the storage unit.
