Job Description:
As the Facility Manager of our family entertainment center, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and overall upkeep of the facility. Your role involves managing maintenance, overseeing operational systems, and maintaining a positive environment for both guests and staff. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
1. Facility Maintenance:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for the facility, including rides, equipment, attractions, and infrastructure.
- Regularly inspect and assess the condition of all areas to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs.
2. Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure environment for both guests and staff.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
3. Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and renovation projects, ensuring timely and quality service.
- Manage contracts and agreements with service providers.
4. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements, optimizing resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
5. Operational Systems:
- Oversee and manage operational systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and address system failures promptly.
6. Inventory and Supplies:
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that supplies are well-stocked and readily available for maintenance tasks.
7. Event Support:
- Collaborate with event coordinators to ensure that the facility is prepared for special events, parties, and functions.
8. Team Management:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance and janitorial teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
9. Sustainability and Energy Efficiency:
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and promote eco-friendly practices within the facility.
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
10. Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, ensuring staff are trained and prepared to handle potential crises.
- Establish communication protocols for emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in facility management or a related field, preferably in the entertainment, hospitality, or events industry.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance practices, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Budget management skills to allocate resources effectively for maintenance and upgrades.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the family entertainment center.

Pay: $44,346.30 - $65,000.00 per year
