Perform routine accounting activities, such as accounts payable, reconciliations and reporting. Gain an understanding of accounting functions and provides support as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume daily responsibilities of processing account payable payments to vendors.
- Assist in the preparation of period account reconciliations.
- Create ad-hoc reporting to help assist with financial analysis, as needed.
- Assist with a variety of projects, as needed.
- Provide support to the accounting & finance functions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong analytical and computer skills, as well as the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and its customers.
- Microsoft Office knowledge, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook .

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Entry level knowledge of business environment
- Interest in banking preferred
- Preference will be given to students who are entering their Junior and Senior year of college
- An overall GPA of 3.2 or higher is strongly preferred, along with 18 business-related credits
