What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spring 2025 Varsity Sailing Coach [Needham High School] position at Needham Public School District?
Needham High School is accepting applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and experiences for the position of Varsity Sailing Coach for the 2025 Spring Season. Previous high school coaching experience is preferred but not required. Ideally candidates will have race experience. More details below.
- The Season starts Week of April 7th and ends between May 23rd - 30th.
- Must be US Sailing Level 1 certified
- Must be First Aid and CPR certified
- Must have SafeSport certification.
- Must communicate effectively with school admin, faculty, parents, and student-athletes
- Should supervise student-athletes at all team events
- Should promote a safe and positive learning environment for all team members
- Must have reliable means of transportation to Community Boating Inc.
- Must communicate with club sport coordinator concerning injuries and student related matters
Compensation: One stipend, paid in two parts mid-season and end-of-season.
