AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

We need an Automation Technician to join our team of energetic people in the warehouse. The primary purpose of the Automation Technician is to provide technical support to sales associates and deliver all value-add assembly projects. The incumbent in this position will maintain collaborative relationships with all members of NEFF and customers to ensure that the highest degree of service is maintained at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Understand electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical prints.
• Maintain an organized and clutter free workspace.
• Participate in design and project kick-off meetings.
• Forecast labor time needed to perform assembly tasks.
• Work from design documentation to build and test to project parameters.
• Travel to installation sites to support shipped projects as needed.
• Communicates and documents project specifications and completion status for customers and Outside Sales.
• Participates in the building and delivery of pneumatic assemblies and 80 / 20 projects.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.
