Do you have an excellent attention to detail and a desire to provide a clean, safe space for our agency's program participants? Neighborhood House Association is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Maintenance Coordinator to supervise and coordinate our maintenance and custodial activities.
About the Position –
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact and work with diverse staff and community
- Experience working with contractors and bid process
- Ability to maintain client, employee, and agency-wide confidentiality
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Interview, hire, train, and supervise maintenance and custodial personnel
- Assist staff in cleaning the building/grounds and in maintenance projects
- Oversee grounds maintenance for landscaping, lawn care, trash pick-up, and snow removal
- Develop and maintain cleaning/maintenance schedules for building and grounds
- Complete all maintenance request projects in a timely manner and maintain log of projects scheduled, pending, and completed
- Direct all regular scheduled maintenance and cleaning of all vehicles
- Schedule all building, equipment, and vehicle inspections and repairs
- Manage inventory and order supplies necessary for cleanliness and safety
- Uphold safety rules and regulations for custodial supplies and equipment usage
- Prepare, implement, and document agency-wide fire and safety drills
- Provide monthly maintenance/custodial report to Accounting Director
- Perform other duties as assigned
