Landscape Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong desire to contribute to the beautification of residential and commercial properties. This role involves various landscaping tasks, including lawn care, tree trimming, and hardscape installation. The Landscape Laborer will work closely with experienced landscapers to execute projects efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing and edging.
• Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Assist in tree trimming and pruning to maintain healthy growth.
• Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for various landscaping tasks.
• Operate power tools safely and effectively for tasks such as cutting and shaping materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure personal safety and the safety of team members on job sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating equipment and performing minor repairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in landscaping projects.
• A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscape maintenance and installation.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends as needed
