Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team! We specialize in creating beautiful new backyard installations and remodeling existing landscapes. As a member of our crew, you will assist with various landscaping tasks and projects, working in a collaborative team environment. We are looking for a reliable individual who can work efficiently, follow instructions, and contribute positively to our work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping elements including plants, hardscaping (pavers, walls), concrete and irrigation systems.
- Help with the removal of existing landscaping, including plants, rocks, and old structures.
- Operate power tools and hand tools used in landscaping (trimmers, blowers, saws, etc.).
- Load, transport, and unload materials, ensuring safe handling and proper storage.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, planting, and leveling.
- Work alongside crew members to ensure quality installation and timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies while on the job.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 100 pounds from the ground up.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience or familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools used in landscaping is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to carry heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
Compensation:
- Pay range of $15 - $19 per hour based on experience and ability to integrate with the team.
