Are you a skilled Bookkeeper looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career in financial management and accounting? We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team and work closely with our finance department. This is your chance to make a significant impact by ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of our organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record financial transactions and reconcile due to/from accounts in the general ledger.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements monthly.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts receivable to loan servicing balances.
- Manage and reconcile escrow and suspense accounts monthly.
- Review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile Community Loan Center (CLC) expected employer payments each payroll cycle (approximately 30 per month).
- Monitor cash flow and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain organized and secure financial records for auditing purposes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and applicants.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
