Description
The Area Manager position contributes to Nekter Juice Bar’s success by directing and educating the General Managers within their specified district on their store operations. The area manager must provide clear direction and leadership to help the store management drive sales, manage budget, and ensure profitability. You should have experience leading multiple stores, because you’ll also be responsible for ensuring district-wide customer satisfaction and measuring the financial performance of all of the locations in your area. But most of all you’ll be inspiring a team of great people committed to creating the Nekter Experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales/Customer Service
Accountable for sales growth within the district and assists the General Managers with developing and reaching their sales goals
Responds pro-actively to prevent and resolve customer service situations
Maintains and drives high standards and expectations of customer service by empowering teams and coaching GMs
Drives a sales-focused culture in stores by educating and coaching managers on customer engagement, upselling and LSM
Supports District Manager and Regional Manager with store operations, metric management, and coaching and development
Store Operations
Routinely visits assigned stores across district ensuring Nekter’s policies and procedures are properly executed
Maintains cost and labor controls through scheduling and reviews
Monitors stores’ controllable expenses to ensure budgets are being hit
Supervises stores including but not limited to providing direction to the team, corrective counseling and conducting meaningful performance evaluations
Staffs, trains and organizes the openings of new Nekter Juice Bar stores
Conducts regularly scheduled district-wide meetings to provide direction; communicate Nekter’s initiatives; and review sales plans, promotions and other initiatives
Product Knowledge
Educates GMs on product benefits and services (catering, donations, LSM)
Maintains and drives adherence to Nekter brand standards, food safety standards and overall customer experience standards
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience
3-5 years as an Area or District Manager in food service preferred
3 or more years of restaurant management experience required
Certified Training Manager certification (internal applicants)
High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience training and developing teams
Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management including senior leadership
Proven record of making business decisions based on profit and loss reports
Experience managing inventory, budgets and sales targets
Strong leadership skills
Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

As required by applicable Pay Transparency Laws, Nekter Juice Bar provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
The pay range for this role is: $27-$32/hour
