Nelcon Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of road construction and subdivision development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, a deep understanding of land development, and excellent leadership skills to manage teams, budgets, and schedules effectively. 10 HOUR SHIFTS AND SOME TRAVEL REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and work plans for road and subdivision construction projects.
- Team Leadership: Lead construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Contract & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, local authorities, engineers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, conduct inspections, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in project management for road construction and subdivision developments.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, grading, drainage, utilities, and paving.
- Experience managing contracts, permits, and local government approvals.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with Heavy Bid Software, Foundation Software, Project Estimating and Scheduling, SWPP, Pay Estimates, DEQ Open Cut
