What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealership Service Advisor-Chrysler position at Nelson Automotive?
Nelson Auto of Grand Forks, a family-owned dealership, is looking for a Service Advisor. The Service Advisor is a dynamic position. S/he (i) works with customers to understand their service issues, (ii) schedules appointments for the dealership's technicians and (iii) controls workflow through the shop. The Service Advisor is critical in ensuring that customers understand the work that was performed on their vehicles and that technicians maintain proper schedules. The Service Advisor is the key bridge between the technician and the public.
The Service Advisor will work closely with the full-service management team and senior management at the dealership on a daily basis to keep work flowing through the shop.
Previous Service Advisor or Technician experience is preferred; however, it is not required. There are numerous opportunities for advancement in this position. Many of our Service Managers have developed their skills as Service Advisors.
