What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Body Technician and Painter position at Nelson Automotive?
Alpha Paint & Body is the newest division of Nelson Mazda and Nelson Nissan and serves as a critical part of helping us care for our customer base. The Nelson Automotive Group consistently retails 6000 vehicles a year in Tulsa. The Nelson’s have been in the automotive space in Tulsa for 60 years and therefore we have thousands of loyal customers.
We have state-of-the art equipment and facilities for our teams. For qualified candidates we would love to do a tour of our operations. We have endless supply of work because our body shop serves both of our stores in Tulsa.

Our current needs:
- Experienced Body Technician
- Experienced Painter
Compensation: $20-25/hour based on experience
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of Auto Body/Paint Experience Required
- Mechanical Aptitude for Body Techs with experience repairing body work and putting the vehicle back together with excellence.
- Great attitude, work ethic and dependability
- Great communication skills because this person will interact with Nelson Mazda and Nelson Nissan staff members and our paint and supply Vendor.
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check
- Physical stamina to kneel, bend and squat
- Ability to use computers with basic data entry skills - experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
Salary : $20 - $25
