Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various areas of law, including but not limited to workers compensation and personal injury. This role requires excellent research and legal drafting skills, as well as the ability to provide sound legal advice to clients. The Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in legal proceedings and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation to clients in listed practice areas.
- Conduct thorough research on legal issues and case law to support client cases.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, trusts, pleadings, and motions.
- Prepare for settlement and/or trials by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect clients' cases.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in practice areas listed above is preferred.
- Strong research skills with the ability to analyze complex legal issues effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and legal drafting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
