You are a Machine Shop Technician who performs machining, assembly, and routine maintenance to support engineering projects.
This position pays: $21.00 - $22.00
What you will be doing:
• Support the Engineering department with process improvement projects for parts manufacturing
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and communication of any delays in schedule
• Perform assembly, construction, and machining tasks to implement planned improvement projects
• Identify potential safety hazards and needed repairs on production and machine shop equipment
• Perform general preventative maintenance and routine repairs of equipment and machinery
• Follow all facility safety protocols, PPE requirements, and emergency procedures
What you bring:
• High School Diploma
• Familiar with safe operation of machining and cutting tools; table saw, drill press, milling machine, belt/disc sander, and various hand tools
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs unassisted
• Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
• Excellent reliability and attendance
