Manufacturing Associate
You are a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Manufacturing Associate, skilled in operating equipment, monitoring product quality, supporting cross-training, and maintaining a clean, efficient production environment while adhering to SOPs and safety regulations.
Compensation : $18.00 / HR
Location : Lynchburg, VA
Schedule : Mon-Fri 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
What you will be doing :
- Ensure Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Use : Properly utilize PPE for each task, ensuring it remains in a safe and usable condition.
- Operate Production Equipment : Perform tasks as instructed, operating machinery, and managing various production processes.
- Monitor Product Quality : Assess products during the production process and alert supervisors to any potential issues.
- Perform Start-Up and Shutdown Activities : Follow supervisor instructions for initiating and shutting down equipment.
- Cross-Train in Various Line Positions : Actively engage in cross-training across different plant positions to enhance skills.
- Document Production : Maintain accurate counts of products being produced or materials being used.
- Maintain Cleanliness : Keep production lines organized and free from hazards, contributing to a safe workspace.
- Support Autonomous Maintenance Program : Grease, clean, and adjust production line equipment as needed.
- Achieve Safety Targets : Participate in efforts to meet safety objectives set by management.
- General Labor Duties : Assist with various tasks as required to meet production needs.
- Attend Safety Meetings and Audits : Participate in meetings and conduct safety audits as needed.
- Ensure Consistent Attendance : Maintain a strong attendance record and punctuality.
