This position pays: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

What you will be doing:
- Obtain, organize, update, and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Manage the distribution and collection of signed physician orders via various methods (DocuSign, fax, etc.).
- Accurately input patient information into the agency's EHR system.
- Ensure all records comply with state, federal, and agency regulations (HIPAA).
- Prepare records for audits and reviews.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and administrative staff to facilitate information flow.
- Coordinate Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and work with Case Managers regarding resumptions of care.
- Handle sensitive matters with tact and escalate to leadership as needed.
- Provide training to new staff and cross-train in other areas for coverage.
- Perform administrative duties, including phone coverage, document processing, and courier coordination.
- Upload physical orders, Face to Face and Health Management Profile (HMP) collections, Primary Care Physician confirmation, uploading lab results and other patient care documents.
- Previous experience in medical records management, preferably in home health or a similar setting.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and other relevant software.
