Production Technician

You are a detail-oriented Production Technician to supporting our production functions, maintain clean line operations, and handle optics through various processes including cleaning, inspecting, and packaging. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, ensuring quality control, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Compensation $20.00/HR

Location: Santa Rosa, CA

Schedule: 6:00am-6:15pm, Thurs, Fri, Sat with rotating Wednesdays

What You Will Be Doing

• Operate and maintain optics clean line, entering programs into the computer.
• Load and unload coating tooling with glass optics.
• Monitor and maintain clean line operations, ensuring equipment runs smoothly.
• Collect samples and monitor test parameters on a daily basis.
• Maintain equipment, including changing water filters and ensuring compliance with clean room protocols.
• Inspect optics using a microscope and handle packaging and labeling of small optics.
• Hand clean optics and operate scanning equipment.
• Record hourly data manually or using a computer.
• Label items using identification tags, stamps, or other marking tools.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any issues to supervisors.
  
  

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a production or technical environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures in a production setting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a clean room environment.
