Volt is immediately hiring a Production / Manufacturing Technician in the Cloverdale CA area.
The Production Technician will help operate the foundry to produce metal powder for 3D printing and / or assist with powder processing (sieving, separating, packaging).
As a Production Technician you will :
- Operate plasma-arc foundry to melt and atomize high performance alloys used for the 3D printing industry.
- Set up and operate production sieving systems to separate the granular powder into different size categories for different 3D printing system requirements.
- Handle and package manufactured powders per safety procedures and operational quality specifications.
- Monitor production manufacturing process sensors and capture critical quality and manufacturing process data parameters.
- Work safely with high power plasma, vacuum and high-pressure gas systems.
- Maintain, troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as needed
This is a Fulltime role
