Engineer I

Nelson Engineering is seeking an Engineer I to join our team in Jackson, WY. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in Civil Engineering or Geology who are looking to apply their skills in construction materials testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials in accordance with industry standards.

• Prepare reports and documentation based on test results and observations.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, regulations, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field (or equivalent experience in materials testing).

• Previous experience in materials testing, geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, or FE is preferred but not required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
