What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Building position at Nelson Global - West Lebanon?
Purpose:
This role involves carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting work to maintain Tru-Flex buildings. Plan and organize maintenance and repairs performed on buildings. Responsible for maintaining and improving buildings to meet Tru-Flex standards. Responsible for building quality control.
Essential Functions:
- This includes repairing and maintaining buildings, fixtures, and equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, lighting and HVAC systems. It can also include painting, carpentry, and other minor repairs.
- This includes removing snow and ice from sidewalks, entrances, parking lots, and driveways.
- This includes operating a variety of building maintenance and grounds equipment, scissor lift, boom lift, skid steer and forklift.
- Inspect and maintain fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and work with outside contractors on sprinkler system.
- Investigate and monitor roof leaks
- Repair building fixtures and equipment, including doors, windows, locks, and more
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- 5 years of experience
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Problem solving skills a must
- Must be able to work at heights
