Job Summary :

Nelson-Jameson is seeking an organized mechanical thinker to ensure facilities are always clean and esthetically maintained.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Assist in the janitorial functions for assigned locations.
• Assist in maintain all building and grounds maintenance for assigned locations.
• Assist in office moves of staff as needed.
• Follow guidelines for health, safety, security regulations, and policies.
• Inspect parking lots for assigned locations.
• Assist with landscaping of assigned locations.
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Required Education and Experience :

• Education : High school or equivalent.
• Experience : 1 years experience in related field.
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and an insurable driver’s record.
Equipment Use :
• Lawn mower.
• Lawn mower.
• Lawn maintenance equipment.
• Hand tools.
• Battery charger.
• Floor scrubber.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 56#, occasionally lift and / or move more than 75#, and infrequently push / pull greater than 115#.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving equipment, dust particles, ladders, hazardous chemicals and slight risk of electrical shock.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The working surface may be concrete, uneven pavement, dirt, grass, and slippery surfaces, dry or wet environments possible.

Work Week :

Hours : up to 40 hours per week

Days : Monday Friday, varies between 7 : 00a.m. 5 : 30p.m.
