What are the responsibilities and job description for the Global Product Manager PCDs position at Nelson Laboratories Holdings, LLC?
The Global Product Manager for PCDs will be responsible for the growth and overall performance of the Process Challenge Device (PCD) business.
The successful candidate will work with significant independence and authority to optimally support internal and external customer needs with innovative, reliable, and effective PCDs. Education and experience : Required :
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field
- Managed a product from inception to completion
- Product development experience
- Business Development and Account Management capability
- Comprehensive understanding of product ownership, including development, production, supply chain, and market launch
- Proven ability to drive results from peers and stakeholders without direct reporting authority Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience managing P&L and budgets
- Experience in the development of highly technical or scientifically-based products Essential Duties Strategy & Vision
- Develop and communicate a clear PCD vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Establish measurable goals, including revenue, customer satisfaction, and market growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure alignment across key stakeholders, including Science, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and XBU. Market Analytics & Development
- Identify customer needs and market opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and scientific advancements.
- Develop go-to-market, marketing, and pricing strategies. Product Development
- Define product requirements and oversee development to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Lead PCD design and testing to maintain performance and compliance standards.
- Manage Device Master Files and coordinate product launches with key stakeholders.
- Provide training, documentation, and messaging support.
- Analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement. Operations & Lifecycle Management
- Ensure product quality, compliance, and supply chain efficiency.
- Oversee distribution, inventory, and KPI tracking for continuous improvement.
- Manage change control processes and communications. Financial & Regulatory Compliance
- Achieve business goals, profitability, and working capital targets.
- Develop business cases for investment and growth.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, and company policies.
- Complete required training on schedule. Work Environment : This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, computer mouse, telephones, photocopiers, projectors and file cabinets. Occasional travel during the business day.
Some out-of-the area and overnight travel may be expected.
May be required to attend trade shows, seminars and conferences. Physical Requirements : Must be able to stand / walk for 10% of the day and 90% of the day sitting at a desk or on the computer.
