MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for providing support in quality related functions, such as incoming inspection, first articles, receipt and investigation of customer returned products.
- Inspect incoming parts as per customer’s specifications and or applicable blue prints. Generate inspection reports, as necessary.
- Accurately investigate, returned (RMAs) products, and provide corrective action plan(s) reports to customers, as required. Process DMR information in Epicor.
- Generating accurate Certificate of Conformance for products, when required.
- Performing other job duties as needed or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read blueprints, and use basic visual and mechanical inspection tools.
- Ability to analyze discrepant products to determine root cause, identify and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to trend data and provide reports to management.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience using basic visual and mechanical inspection tools.
- Knowledge of ISO Quality System Requirements
- Knowledge of AS9100 standard a plus.
SKILLS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to trend and quickly analyze data.
- Be able to present information to management team and employees in a broad audience.
- Highly organized and consistent, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to quickly adapt to change.
- Ability to cooperate with, and elicit cooperation from others.
- Must be able to work under pressure and remain flexible. Good work attendance.
