Quality Technician
Outagamie County manufacturer is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
Position – Quality Tech
Job Location – Appleton, WI
Starting Date – ASAP
Employment Term – Temp to hire
Employment Type – Full time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift
Starting Pay – $19 to $21/hr

Required Experience – At least 2 years exp in quality is required
As a quality tech you will be reviewing, and documenting the quality methods by using lab testing and other required materials. You will be responsible for quality audits and inspections on the manufacturing floor. You will be partnering with operations, engineering and program management to make sure that customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities
- auditing internal processes and performing tests and inspections on products.
- Interpreting engineering drawings to determine quality and reliability standards
- Records auditing data
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards
- Perform calibration on inspection tools
- manages the document control database.
Qualifications
- Must have 2 years of experience in quality control
- Safety program experience is a plus
- Six Sigma/Lean experience is a plus
