Nelson Pipeline is seeking a highly motivated Copper Layer who is responsible for installing and maintaining copper utility lines.
Responsibilities:
- Work on construction site and in utility trenches, ensuring that copper cables are professionally installed
- Lay underground copper pipes for water distribution or sewer systems according to plans, city specs and blueprints
- Communicate with managers on projects related to copper installations through training and professional development
- Responsible for shooting grade
- Responsible for overall quality control
- Adheres to all safety rules
- Maintaining the work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner on a continuous basis
- Other job duties as assigned
