What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wet Utilities Tester position at Nelson Pipeline Constructors, LLC?
Nelson Pipeline is seeking a highly motivated Tester who will be responsible for complete and thorough testing of water utility lines including air test, vacuum testing, core drilling, chlorine injecting, potholing and walk behind concrete sawing. The Tester is ultimately responsible for quality control of a completed project.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the field daily to complete testing of water utility lines including air tests, vacuum testing, core drilling chlorine injecting, potholing and walk behind concrete sawing
- Set up appointments with Nelson Pipeline Foreman and municipality inspectors
- Send out pre-appointment emails and follow-up emails
- Keep records of daily inspections
- Keep inventory of equipment and tools
- Keep field and management updated with an organizational calendar
- Being productive with minimal supervision
- Follow Nelsons safety policies and protocols and drive a safe working environment

- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Current Driver's License required
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to use an iPad, iPad and use outlook to send emails
- Must be English speaking, bilingual preferred
