Job Description
The Nemacolin Conference & Catering Internship is a paid educational opportunity for students seeking to fulfill their school's experiential academic requirements. This Intern will work closely with both the Conference and Catering, and Sales teams on all aspects of group meetings and events, playing a valuable role in the operations of the department. Students are provided the opportunity for hands-on training in a Forbes and AAA-rated environment.
Essential Duties:
- Working with the Conference Concierge on the floor with groups
- Assisting with client's needs
- Working closely with banquet staff
- Effectively communicating changes and needs to the Conference Service Manager
- Assisting managers with pop-up needs for the groups on the property
- Administrative tasks such as; daily office responsibilities, daily reports, (Distribution of BEOs to the resort), and effectively communicating group events with group signage.

Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in a related discipline
- Must possess a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently
- People-oriented and good organizational and communication skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills: all Windows Microsoft packages
- Must be able to speak English
