What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Liaison Representative position at Nemak?
This role supports QA activities and is direct contact with customer who utilize our products and services. Monitor all phases of the customer operation for early detection/correction of quality concerns. This role will be at a Customer site location.
Review daily scrap/on-hold parts
Communicate issues to casting plant or appropriate representative
Complete a daily scrap report with detail including traceability information
Take photos of parts and send to plants
Monitor/report leak test equipment FTT and scrap rate performance
Monitor and audit pre-machiner OEE and scrap performance
Monitor/report daily, weekly and monthly inventory including WIP, FG and RAW
Follow control batches, tests, special parts through the machining line
Help troubleshoot machining issues
Help perform sorting/containment when required
Participate on quality calls when requested
Generate reports and participate on teams as requested.
Provide suggestions on continuous improvement initiatives regularly to reduce defects.
