Duties Responsibilities
- Develop and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies for contingent and current job openings within the DoD and FEDCON sectors.
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools to identify, attract, and engage high-quality candidates.
- Read and analyze Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW) to understand hiring needs and contract requirements.
- Conduct initial screenings of candidates, assessing their qualifications before involving technical experts.
- Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Supports employee retention initiatives, capturing employee feedback and developing retention programs.
- Facilitates employee recognition programs, including tracking kudos and identifying top talent for internal promotions and rewards.
- Provides communication support to employees regarding career growth opportunities.
- Develops innovative recruitment marketing strategies using social media, job fairs, and networking events to increase brand awareness and attract top talent.
- Maintains a strong talent pipeline for future contract wins and expansion opportunities.
- Partners with hiring managers and leadership to align recruiting efforts with business objectives.
- Works independently while maintaining clear communication with HR, hiring managers, and executive leadership.
- Provides weekly recruiting updates, outlining hiring progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
- Stays up to date with industry trends and hiring best practices, implementing new strategies as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Prior recruiting experience in defense contracting, federal agencies, or related government contracting roles.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software for managing candidate pipelines.
- Experience with developing and executing recruitment marketing strategies for niche technical and cleared roles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Successful experience working in a team environment
- Working experience with Paylocity
- Familiar with AAP requirements and OFCCP.
Travel Required: Approximately 25%
