Job Description
The Mold method reliability specialist is responsible for ensuring that:
- Molds are properly stored, handled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
- The reliability and efficiency of the mold supply chain, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent product quality.
More specifically, the Method reliability specialist oversees:
- Support of the process of improving the efficiency of the mold maintenance function.
- Definition, development, deployment and improvement methods, planning of interventions and equipment performances.
- Backup of spare parts warehouse keeper
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Preventive maintenance:
- Determine PM Strategy / necessary preventive maintenance tasks / PM Planning, including regulatory controls
- Support mold maintenance execution with technical expertise during complex diagnostics and oversees execution of preventive plans
- Deliver operational documentation:
- Define, structure, compile, update, ensure availability of operational documentation (plans, procedures, technical doc, standards, controls) for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Implement maintenance standards
- Deliver information system and manage IT data:
- Structure, collect, analyze maintenance data (spare parts, interventions, events, critical items) and ensures surveillance
- Deploy CMMS for facility
- Analyze breakdowns and their causes, identify improvement actions and implement these actions:
- Availability, reliability, personal safety, environment, operating costs, value of the assets, product quality
- Obsolescence
- Improve the items:
- Define, monitor, or realize and validate improvements of the item when it is a better solution than preventive or corrective actions.
- Improve the results:
- Optimize maintenance processes through structured practices, data and events analysis
- Reduce costs of preventive maintenance (plans) and repairing costs through structured analysis (costs
- compilation and tracking, budget analysis, corrective actions)
- Train maintenance employees on preventive tasks and CMMS utilization (for all maintenance technicians)
- Train maintenance / production collaborators on specific / experts technical skills
- Deliver maintenance requirements during item design and modifications (IE interface)
- Provide external services: Support and coordinate external companies
- Spare parts methods:
- Determine the spare items to keep in stock for maintenance
- Reserve or issue a purchase request for spare items
- Order spare items from suppliers --> for new spares and particular interventions
- Establish and monitor contracts with suppliers
- Participate to relevant team meetings (see meeting map)
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Master the integrated management software and the CMMS
- Knowledge in lean manufacturing, breakdown analysis and data analysis tools
- Trained and efficient in advanced problem solving

- Build and maintain relevant relationships with other departments and partners

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in an office and clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and required appropriate PPE and cleanroom apparel
Occasional travel up to 15% based on assignments
